Lancaster Area Water and Mold Damage
Our SERVPRO team responded rapidly to the Lancaster homeowner's request for an inspection regarding the musty odor coming from an interior closet. The moisture accumulated because a dripping exterior hose bib soaked the insulation and drywall unnoticed. We inspected using moisture sensors as we removed the mold-contaminated carpeting in this small area. We installed a containment barrier to prevent airborne dust and mold spores from circulating through unaffected rooms of the house. For additional best practices, we ran a HEPA filtered air scrubber using negative air pressure to direct potential contaminants to the exterior. This is the right way to do a water and mold remediation job. The After Photo depicts the dried wall void, drain pipe, and new, fresh, and dry insulation prior to us spraying an antimicrobial to inhibit future mold growth. Then utilizing our General Contractor License #466729, we closed up the wall to complete the service. "Like it never even happened."
